Hello! I hope you are doing well and that you are happy and healthy!

If you have acne, dark spots, fine lines or redness, there is an at-home treatment you can do called LED light therapy for skin. It’s safe and there is scientific research about the benefits of light therapy for the human body and even for plants but I recommend you do your own research to learn more.

I finally got my hands on an LED face mask from Korea! It was on sale for 30% off / $20 off and I was like yessss and treated myself ā¤ļø

I bought my Eclair mask from Wishtrend. They are an authentic and well known online shop that sells K-beauty and skincare. This post is not sponsored!

First impressions:

This thing is sooooo light. I actually accidentally dropped the unwrapped box and screamed because I paid good money for this and I was worried I broke it.

It was packaged very well in the box so I was impressed that it was unphased.

I thought the box would be heavier but the mask is so lightweight that you can chuck the box across the room – but don’t do that. I do not recommend lol.

The mask plastic is thin which makes it not heavy, which is brilliant because it sits on your face for 15 mins and it would really suck if it was heavy. Other competitors’ masks are too heavy when it sits on your face.

It does have a cord and needs to be plugged in while using which is a bummer but that makes it lighter too because there’s no big clunky battery.

Portable masks are cool though. If you’re looking for a portable mask that you can walk around your house in and do chores while treating your skincare concerns, I recommend checking out Aduro LED mask because it’s completely cordless and you can walk around in it. Aduro also doesn’t use the nose bridge holder either because they use a velcro strap instead.

Anyhow, back to Eclair. Like I said this is a nose bridge / glasses type mask so it does leave marks on your nose but they fade away. I recommend using this at night before you sleep so you don’t have to worry about the indentation marks on your nose from the glasses bridge.

This mask also comes with googles to protect your eyes from the light if you are sensitive to light. It’s not so bad for me so I just scroll on my phone while the mask does its thing.

Eclair comes with a blue light, yellow light, and red light. I’m mostly using blue and yellow for acne and dark spots. Here is a chart that shows the benefits of each light:

I have tried light therapy before and I started out using the Skin Inc. Tri-light. It is handheld though and very small so it doesn’t cover my entire face, which is why I bought the Eclair. It even lights my neck too which is great! Because I have neck creases that I’m trying to minimize, plus we should be giving our neck the same amount of love and care as our faces.

My experience with light therapy and the Skin Inc. Tri-light were good because I was able to reduce inflammation when my fingers got stuck in my garage door. The red light reduced the swelling and helped it heal faster.

I also used to blue light to treat my cystic pimples by killing the bacteria below the surface of my skin. It works well if you get to it before it emerges when it is forming. It does not work as well if it has already been there for several days. Treating as soon as possible works better.

The Eclair is a top selling skincare item in South Korea right now and I can see why. Compared to other LED masks this is convenient and lightweight and easy to clean.

I tried each light and it did not overheat which shows how great quality it is. Cheaper masks overheat and feel too hot like a sun bed or are a danger to touch by accident.

I’m really liking the Eclair! You can buy one here šŸ™‚

I hope you stay safe and take care!
